Florencia Librizzi
Program Director
As Program Director, Florencia Librizzi oversees strategy, governance, program delivery, and contributes to fundraising, and legal matters. Acting as Chief of Staff, she facilitates team efforts, partnerships and serves as a spokesperson. Florencia's expertise combines legal and policy issues, multi-stakeholder engagement, as well as education and capacity building for a sustainable future. Florencia teaches a fall semester course on sustainability at Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University. Previously, she has served as an attorney, mediator, advisor and board member, and has held several UN and non-profit roles in New York, including Program Director at the International Senior Lawyers Project (ISLP); Head of Program and Partnerships, SDG Academy, UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN); Senior Manager, Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), UN Global Compact; and Researcher for the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ). She was the first female and civil society representative appointed to serve as Co-Chair of the UN Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI) where she contributed to scale up the impact of higher education for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by bringing together and mobilizing key stakeholders globally. Florencia has earned her first law degree at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC), Argentina and an L.L.M. at NYU School of Law.
