  • Anna Bebbington

    Anna Bebbington

    Senior Spatial Analyst

    Anna is a Senior Spatial Analyst with Earth Insight, supporting the GIS workflows from data collection and management to cartography. Prior to joining Earth Insight, Anna has collaborated with Conservation International to map Indigenous Peoples and Local Community Lands and rights in Europe, provided geospatial support to urban forestry efforts in Worcester, MA, and worked with The Mountain Institute on building climate resiliency in agro-pastoral communities in the Peruvian high Andes. Anna has a MSci in Geographic Information Science from Clark University (Worcester, MA) and a BA in Geography from Macalester College (St Paul, MN).

  • Edith Espejo

    Edith Espejo

    Program Manager

    Edith Espejo, has been working in the climate space for over 6 years, beginning her career at the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation focusing on biodiversity and climate crisis communications. Before joining Earth Insight, she assisted in One Earth Philanthropy winning an Anthem Award, several Shorty Awards, and other communications recognitions during her time as a communications manager. At Earth Insight, she is playing a key role supporting the research and communications strategies.

  • Lynsey Grosfield

    Lynsey Grosfield

    Head of Communications

    Lynsey Grosfield, is a lifelong gardener and lover of all things plant-related, she has built a career advancing the work of nature conservation organizations, including the Centre for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), Secretariat of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (SCBD), Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI), and Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Canada. A graduate in Anthropology and Social Studies of Medicine at McGill University, she also holds a Master’s in Science Communication and Public Engagement from the University of Edinburgh, and is slowly but surely working towards a Master Gardener designation. She lives in Alberta with her partner, a dog, two cats, and at least three aquariums.

    Tiffany Hsu

    Spatial Analyst

    Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Spatial Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. From assessing sea level rise vulnerabilities in the Maldives during her time at NASA to monitoring palm oil supply chain changes in Indonesia during her undergraduate studies at UCSB, her experiences reflect a commitment to environmental causes. At Earth Insight, she applies her expertise to analyze spatial data and create informative visualizations. Beyond her professional pursuits, Tiffany finds joy in performing modern dance, watching space documentaries, baking desserts, and spending time in nature.

  • Florencia Librizzi

    Florencia Librizzi

    Program Director

    As Program Director, Florencia Librizzi oversees strategy, governance, program delivery, and contributes to fundraising, and legal matters. Acting as Chief of Staff, she facilitates team efforts, partnerships and serves as a spokesperson. Florencia's expertise combines legal and policy issues, multi-stakeholder engagement, as well as education and capacity building for a sustainable future. Florencia teaches a fall semester course on sustainability at Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University. Previously, she has served as an attorney, mediator, advisor and board member, and has held several UN and non-profit roles in New York, including Program Director at the International Senior Lawyers Project (ISLP); Head of Program and Partnerships, SDG Academy, UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN); Senior Manager, Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), UN Global Compact; and Researcher for the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ). She was the first female and civil society representative appointed to serve as Co-Chair of the UN Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI) where she contributed to scale up the impact of higher education for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by bringing together and mobilizing key stakeholders globally. Florencia has earned her first law degree at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC), Argentina and an L.L.M. at NYU School of Law.

  • Tyson Miller

    Tyson Miller

    Executive Director

    Tyson Miller has been developing environmental and civil society organizations and initiatives for nearly 25 years. He has focused on advancing large landscape conservation, restricting access to fossil energy financing, sustainability in the forest products industry, improved environmental coverage in the news, and expanded environmental education and literacy. Initiatives that he has played a central role in co-founding or catalyzing include: the Amazonia for Life 80% by 2025 Coalition, the Exit Amazon Oil and Gas Campaign, the Wetland Forests Initiative, Environmental Paper Network, Dream of Nation, and a range of others. Prior to joining Earth Insight, Tyson led the forest and Amazon programs at Stand.earth, overseeing research initiatives tracking supply chains and financial flows for oil and gas expansion in the Amazon and leveraging this research to secure agreements with global banks. He also served as program director of the Dogwood Alliance, and as principal of Seenova.org.  He also commenced a number of fiscally sponsored projects (e.g., Green Press Initiative, Project for Improved Environmental Coverage, Dream of a Nation) through the auspices of Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs.

  • Juan Pablo Osornio

    Juan Pablo Osornio

    Engagement Director

    Juan Pablo Osornio has fifteen years of experience on climate politics and policy. He has worked with governments in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia on climate policy and was responsible for creating the global climate political strategy for Greenpeace from (2017-2022). Juan Pablo is passionate about international cooperation and committed to bringing countries together to protect the global commons. He is originally from Mexico City, holds a BA in International Relations from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomous de Mexico and an MPA on Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University SIPA. Juan Pablo's role is housed within the Meliore Foundation.

  • Bart Wickel

    Bart Wickel

    Science and Research Director

    Bart Wickel, PhD, has been working on the interface of Conservation, Climate and Natural Resource challenges around the globe for nearly 30 years. With Earth Insight he is leading the development of innovative methods and tools that employ spatial data (remote sensing and GIS) to understand and communicate the value of intact and carefully managed ecosystems and evaluate the threats of large scale infrastructure development to communities and nature. Prior to joining Earth Insight he was a Senior Scientist with the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI); Lead Conservation Hydrologist for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and as an Integrated Expert on Remote Sensing with the National Commission for Knowledge and Use of Biodiversity (CONABIO). Bart holds a PhD in Physical Geography (magna cum laude) from the University of Bonn, Germany.
